An extreme closeup shot features the head and upper chest of an egret set against a blurry, blue-green background. The egret is predominantly white. Its feathers are soft and full around its neck and head. The egret's beak is long, thin, and black. It tapers to a sharp point. Just behind the beak, at the base of the eye, is a bright yellow patch of skin with a tiny black spot in the middle of the egret's eye, serving as the pupil. The heron's face has a slight curve to its contour. The bird's body, which extends down towards the bottom of the frame, is also white, seamlessly blending with the neck and head.
