Great Heron.

A close-up, high-angle shot shows a great blue heron standing in thick green grass that rises to the height of its lower body. The bird is facing the left. Its head, near the left of the frame, is tilted sharply back so that its pale, mottled gray and brown neck shows on top of its ruffled body. The heron, preening, has spread its right wing, with large gray body feathers, away from its body. A long yellow beak emerges from the grey and white head, where its yellow eye looks out from a dark line.
