Resting on a tree branch is a white morpho butterfly. The butterfly with one upright wing takes up the majority of the left side of the frame. The wing is lightly white with gold delineating the veins, and small brown spots scattered near gold bordered black dots. The butterfly faces the right, perched on a dark tree branch with glimmers of gold showing through. The butterfly’s body has a striped white and gold thorax and cream colored legs. The antennae are in focus and stretch out towards the right side of the frame, framed by green and white bokeh in the background.
